sales assistant
Responsibility
- assist our manager in taking wholesale orders from customers
- data entry of orders to collate total baked goods numbers
- help with inventory management by monitoring and being aware of stock levels
- provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers, answering questions about products, and assisting with sales
- produce daily recipes, production sheets and van runs
- other admin tasks will be necessary - creating invoices in Xero, creating PDF's and emailing customers
- aid packing of wholesale orders when necessary
- working in our shop in times of need or as directed
Requirements
- previous experience in a bakery or food service environment is preferred but not essential; a willingness to learn is key
- strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment
- good communication skills and a friendly disposition towards customers and team members
