apprentice
Responsibility
- assist in the day-to-day operations of the leisure centre, including opening and closing of facilities
- ensure the cleanliness and safety of all areas, including gym, swimming pool, changing rooms, and communal areas
- assist in the setup and take down of equipment for activities and events
- provide customer service, including answering queries, providing information about our services, and handling complaints in a professional manner
- carry out regular safety checks on equipment and facilities
- assist in the delivery of activities and events as required
- work with the rest of the team to create a friendly and welcoming environment for all our visitors
Requirements
- excellent customer service skills
- ability to work as part of a team
- good physical fitness as the role involves manual handling tasks
- basic knowledge of health and safety regulations
- willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- competent Swimmer
- willingness to work towards RLSS Pool Lifeguard Award
