Responsibility

• partaking and assisting the Food & Beverage Manager with Bar Staff training days throughout the year
• venue management – creating a welcoming, positive environment for both guests and staff, ensuring that all areas of the venue are safe, tidy and clean at all times, being the main contact person for all external suppliers including caterers and bands/DJ’s, closing the venue in an efficient and timely manner and being responsible for safety and security at the end of the night
• bar management – ensuring consistent, high-quality beverages are served to customers, set up and closedown of the venue bar including the BOH areas, the organisation of stock, restocking of products where necessary, hygiene, managing the bar equipment, health & safety and security

• this includes understanding the till system, knowledge about the products that we serve and ensuring the rest of the team are familiar with this and how each should be served, barista training and cocktail making
