Responsibility

• managing the daily operational activity of the centre
• liaising with riders, coaches and volunteers on a daily basis, as well as with schools and carers where necessary
• planning termly schedules and staff/volunteer rotas

• maintaining accurate records of riders, ponies and volunteers, and proactively managing the rider waiting list
• managing building maintenance
• working with the treasurer, providing relevant numbers for invoicing purposes and checking payments
• liaising regularly with Board of Trustees, providing reports, attending meetings and escalating issues

Requirements

• confident communicator with excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
• driven, positive and enthusiastic, with plenty of initiative
• experience of managing a diverse team with an adaptable management style

• experience/passion for working with RDA and/or disabled individuals
• this role will be offered on the condition that the applicant undergoes a satisfactory enhanced DBS check and provides satisfactory references
