Responsibility
- lead our authorisations team to deliver successful applications to the FCA for leading, innovative payments businesses
- devise and lead compliance training for fscom client staff
- developing key relationships with fscom client stakeholders with a view to generating work from these prospective clients for the firm
- network widely within the firm amongst those currently and potentially providing services to other clients
- engage and network with prospective clients and represent fscom at industry relevant events and conferences
- develop presence as a “thought leader” through writing blogs/white papers, speaking engagements and networking at key industry events
- maintain extensive knowledge and expertise of all relevant regulation in order to offer guidance and thorough reviews of clients’ governance, systems and controls, reporting arrangements, assessments of their compliance with relevant regulations, guidelines and understanding best practice
- maintain broad knowledge and expertise of relevant regulation in order to offer guidance and thorough reviews of clients’ governance, systems and controls, reporting arrangements, assessments of their compliance with relevant regulations, guidelines and understanding best practice
Education
- diploma of Higher Education
Requirements
- evidence of further professional development such as ACAMS, ICA OR CISI memberships
- ability to deliver pragmatic and practical solutions to business problems
- A background in managing a small team or more junior staff
- knowledge of an experience in dealing in UCITS/COLL regulations
- ability to make complex requirements simple and approachable
- strong analytical skills, with the ability to think critically for building solutions for the company
- experience of influencing senior managers and persuading senior people to implement change
- effective communicator with a track record of succinct and clear writing and presentation skills
