Requirements
- either a member or associate of the CIAT or RICS, or working towards membership
- applicants must be based in the UK , have a clean driving license and have no pending or current convictions
- either a member or affiliate of the RIBA, CIAT, RICS, CIOB or working towards membership
- an accredited degree in architecture, building surveying, Architectural Technology or equivalent HNC/HND
- good skill in AutoCAD. Any experience producing 3D visualisations will be useful but not essential
- proficient skill in AutoCAD
- A minimum of 7 years practical experience
- A minimum of 5 years practical experience
Responsibility
- candidates with less than x1 year experience will not be considered
- if experience is limited, the Architect or Architect Technologist must be willing to undertake further training to fulfill this role
- your role will primarily be spent on live building projects and you must have practical experience of acting in the role of a contract administrator - Your role will include travel
- liaise with clients to take and create design briefs
- take instructions from design team members and produce drawings within RIBA stages 2-4
- diligently handle all instructions and maintain comprehensive records
- able to produce feasibility drawings following interpretation of a design brief
- this role is ideal for Building Surveyor or Architect Technologist who has hands on experience and a desire to act as Contract Administrator on bespoke, residential homes, having experience of working with traditional contracts, such JCT and RIBA building contracts
