quantity surveyor
Responsibility
- reporting to the Commercial Director, you will have proven experience as a successful Quantity Surveyor with experience in the refurbishment sector
- you will have the ability to take a project on from tender stage through to completion, delivering on all commercial aspects for the business
- monitor health and safety within your area of responsibility and report any concerns to your line manager
Contract type
- full time . Location South-West, ideally Bristol based. Willing to travel and work away from home when required
Requirements
- measurement and take-off of a project to assist with the estimating and sub-contract order placement
- good working knowledge and experience of construction and Quantity Surveying
- managing procurement schedules from inception through to completion
- management of cashflow, payments and both sub-contract and supplier valuations
- the candidate must hold a valid driving license
- strong client relationships, including attending and leading client meetings, valuations and value engineering workshops
- able to travel at short notice
- tender evaluations including the preparation of tender and contract documents
