due to rapid growth and continuous success we are delighted to confirm that we are currently seeking a Commercial Manager to join our team here at Fortem at our Northern region
the Commercial Manager will ensure appropriate commercial controls are in place and adhered to in order to secure the company’s full entitlement through the contract
monitor job cost against job revenue to identify problem areas Financial Control - Ensure monthly management accounts are reviewed in detail and audited - Ensure that procedures are in place to accurately allocate job costs - Monitor system financial information and put in place regular cleansing regimes - Regularly audit supply chain liabilities to ensure works are being correctly valued - Minimise Capital Employed on a weekly basis to keep within budget targets - Monitor financial performance against Budget and explain variances Subcontractors and Suppliers - Monitor buying rates & ensure comprehensive orders are placed - Ensure variations are measured and priced accurately - Ensure payments are in accordance with subcontracts Performance Information - Ensure KPI’s are monitored & strategies for improvements are in place Client relationship - Manage client relationship & undertake more complex client negotiations - Ensure client expectations have been met by the branch whilst administering the appropriate contractual notices to maximise our entitlement - Recognise the long term importance of strong client/consultant relationship
due to rapid growth and continuous success we are delighted to confirm that we are currently seeking a Commercial Manager to join our team here at Fortem at our Northern region and will involve travel to locations including: Merseyside, Greater Manchester, Yorkshire and the East Midlands and we are flexible on the base location across these locations
