Responsibility
- deliver our events to a high and most importantly safe standard
- manage and organise our teams on the above events to provide the aims as set out above
- forward plan and organise for each event including the movement of staff, vehicles, and event collateral
- adopt a positive and motivational approach to engender a culture of professional behaviour and customer care at all times
- communication , boosting and maintaining team motivation
- work alongside the Logistics team in the office and on the road, and assist in the movement of customer and manufacturer stock, bikes and materials
- be able to bring new ideas to the company, and mature them from inception to reality
- be prepared for changes that can and will happen approaching an event or during an event, and be able to adapt and react to that change in the best interests of the company, customer and most importantly safety
Requirements
- A varied skill set is required, including some Race Circuit event experience as a participant or work experience
- road riding skills are important, and on any given day you will be interacting with clients or manufacturers
- A great Events Manager has skills and experience in various areas of event planning and customer service
- A motorcycle licence is a requirement. However, a Class 1 licence would in addition be an additional advantage
- innovative and creative PC skills
- competitive instinct and be able to work under pressure, within a target-orientated environment
- strong team motivational skills
- ability to manage difficult situations in a calm and effective manner
