Responsibility
- support the Assistant Operations Manager in the day-to-day management of all operational functions
- support and cover the role of the Assistant Operations Manager during periods of absence
- strategically manage warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision
- lead all dayshift operational staff inclusive of operations and distribution
- ensure compliance of both health and safety and food safety rules and regulations
- help introduce new process and efficiencies as the current operation continues to grow
- support manage absence and time keeping within the department in line with Company policy & best practice
- measure and report the effectiveness of warehousing activities and employee performance
Requirements
- leadership skills and experience leading a team
- first-hand experience with warehouse management software and databases
- high energy, engaging and adaptable
- good verbal and written communication skills, relationship builder
- ability to input, retrieve and analyse data
- hands on commitment to getting the job done
- awareness of health & safety, food safety and security standards
- proven ability to direct and co-ordinate operations
