Responsibility

  • you will need to be currently or recently employed in a commercial or sales capacity within the food industry
  • you will be versed in managing accounts within the sector - confident, communicative, ambitious and energetic
  • here’s an exciting opportunity for an experienced Business Development Manager, Commercial Manager or Sales & Marketing Manager to manage and build our brand sales in the UK
  • we already have an extensive customer base - from wholefoods wholesalers to foodservice operators and major multiples; but in order to meet our ambitious growth plan, we're looking for a UK Business Development Manager to join our team
  • hybrid or ideally Bristol office based you will have full responsibility for the development of sales with existing and new business accounts. You will be supported by a small operations, marketing and commercial team
  • salary is competitive, plus commission; based on relevant experience
  • you will have a friendly and approachable manner but be driven to maximise opportunities within existing accounts as well as seek out and develop sales with new prospects in retail/wholesale, foodservice and other channels
  • working largely autonomously but with the support of the MD and within the framework of a small commercial team, you will develop our business with the company's prized accounts including some wholesalers and key accounts besides identifying new commercial opportunities and achieving new listings - so experience and confidence in these areas is essential
