payroll officer
Responsibility
- process New Starters & Leavers on Sage 50 Payroll
- update Payroll weekly/daily with adjustment payments and additions, any other ad hoc pay instructions
- maintain employee's payroll records, names, addresses, update job title and hours
- process "Changes" spreadsheet issued by HR department
- process Maternity/Paternity/Statutory payments/Attachment of earnings
- process monthly deductions- Staff Advances, Staff Loans, Training agreements
- review L&G Monthly employee OPT report and process any refunds
- check HMRC Mailbox apply tax code changes to employee's payroll records
Requirements
- must have 1-2 years' experience working within a payroll role
- knowledge of Sage 50 Cloud payroll would be an advantage
- certification in payroll processing or finance and advantage
- ability to prioritise and remain calm under pressure
- good communications skills
- you Must have full right to work in the UK without sponsorship
- accuracy and attention to detail
- excellent organisational skills
