Responsibility
- day to day operation of the home
- to be responsible for delivering high quality care and support to the children and young people residing within the home
- to be the Registered Manager for the Home as specified in Children’s Homes, Regulations 2015
- to be responsible for setting up the home and the day-to-day management of the home, promoting a student-centred caring environment, through high standards of professional practice, which are conducive to the physical, emotional, social, intellectual, and spiritual needs of the children and young people
- maintain accurate records and documentation of all activities
- liaise with the Responsible Individual and the commissioning authorities to ensure that the care needs of new and existing children/young people are met
Requirements
- strong social work skills and ability to provide emotional support
- proficient in medication administration and adherence to safety protocols
- excellent budgeting and financial acumen
- knowledge of home care services and resources
- strong organizational skills and attention to detail
