Responsibility
- we’re looking for a desktop technician to join our team
- the role will involve all aspects of first line technical support across our busy office and warehouse
- desktop administration, installing and configuring computer hardware, including operating systems and applications
- you’ll work alongside Scott our IT manager in a small team
- if you are new to IT support, training will be provided each step of the way
- troubleshooting IT related issues through the various support mechanisms already in place
- maintaining printers and managing consumable levels
- carrying out new starter IT inductions
Requirements
- experience in general modern office administration using ICT
- A good working knowledge of the Microsoft Windows desktop platform
- experience supporting staff with IT issues
- practical knowledge & understanding of desktop computing
- knowledge and understanding of ISO 27001 standards
- knowledge of VOIP telephony systems
- an understanding of good practices relating to an ICT environment
- A pragmatic approach to problem solving
