Responsibility
- operate a 7.5-tonne truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations
- load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment
- follow assigned routes and schedules to ensure timely delivery of goods
- adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving
- perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and report any maintenance issues
- maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and delivery confirmations
- provide excellent customer service by interacting professionally with clients during deliveries
- collections
Requirements
- valid driver's license with the appropriate class for operating a 7.5-tonne vehicle
- proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role
- knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations
- ability to safely operate heavy equipment, such as a forklift, if required
- strong organizational and time management skills to meet delivery deadlines
- excellent communication and customer service skills
