Responsibility

  • we are seeking to recruit an experienced Assistant Cook to support our Head Chef within our Kitchen department
  • prepare and cook all meals at the scheduled times throughout the day
  • fresh baked goods will be baked daily such as cookies, biscuits, cupcakes etc for our residents to enjoy
  • ordering the required stock and managing stock rotation
  • understand the importance of accommodating any allergies or specific dietary requirements
  • record all required documentation to the deadline it is required
  • wardley Gate Care Centre is a residential care home in Wardley, Gateshead. Part of family run company Enhanced Care Group offers high quality residential, nursing and dementia care across the north-east
  • adhere to cleaning schedule ensuring all kitchen equipment, fridges and freezers are clean
