Responsibility

collaborate as a team member under the leadership of school staff including the headteacher
create a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for children to thrive in
to devise, implement and evaluate specialized programmes of work to encourage and promote a pupil’s social emotional and behavioural development
the scheme will feature constructive breakouts designed to provide restoration and time for effective reflection
promote and deliver high-quality support within the school. Work with children whose behaviour and disaffection has significant impact upon their attainment
the scheme will comply with the school’s behaviour policy. It will feature constructive and restorative conversations with students which will involve teaching staff where appropriate
13. To contribute to the assessment of pupil progress and to produce detailed termly and annual written reports outlining pupil progress
log and report any incidents, accidents, or safety concerns to the Head Teacher or Deputy Head Teacher

Requirements

proven experience working with children, preferably in a mentoring or educational capacity
strong communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively
knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
familiarity with tutoring techniques and resources for various subjects
experience or training in Applied Behaviour Analysis is highly desirable
some experience with sports coching may be beneficial
A passion for mentoring and supporting children's growth both academically and personally
