- proven previous retail management experience
- experience working in a charity retail space
- demonstrated ability to meet or exceed sales targets and effectively manage store operations
- previous experience in visual merchandising, including the ability to display products attractively to encourage sales

- pro-active, innovative, creative, and client-centric approach to problem solving
- strong leadership and team management skills
- experience in building and nurturing relationships with local businesses, donors, and supporters
Responsibility
- carry out any other tasks as directed by the Retail Operations Manager or CEO
- ensure the welfare of our people and customers by implementing and maintaining Health & Safety policies inclusive of risk assessments
- effectively communicate the Branch vision and values and positively promote the work of the RSPCA with volunteers to enable them to fully engage with the organisation
- actively encourage the public to donate good quality items and proactively work to avoid stock shortages
