Requirements
- previous experience is advantageous, however full training will be given
- able to produce precise 2D drawings
- competent in the use of 3D CAD
- educated to A level standard or NVQ Level 3 is preferred
- experience of working in a manufacturing environment
- able to communicate effectively at all levels
- planning and organisational skills to ensure objectives and deadlines are met
- excellent IT skills
Responsibility
- to ensure all work/tasks/procedures/documentation meet the requirements of ISO 9001
- extracting information from customer drawings to prepare internal drawings
- ensure that relevant drawings and information are available for other departments to facilitate the production of required parts
- our CAD Technicians are responsible for creating manufacturing drawings of components in accordance with customer specifications, along with the documentation required for an ERP system
