technical manager
Responsibility
- the Technical Manager / Investigator will be expected to investigate incidents or contribute to a variety of different projects
- the Technical Manager / Investigator may also be required to set up a new office with laboratory facility in Norfolk
- some technical knowledge and skills will be required, although training is provided
- the role will report to, and support, Rob Weller initially
- the successful candidate will be given opportunity to grow and will be encouraged to work towards the role of Technical Director
- they must be comfortable writing reports and summary notes, as well as carrying out a variety of roles including earth testing, harmonic testing, laboratory testing of equipment, checking design calculations / drawings, and giving technical opinion
- they will also be required to check reports / documents or calculations carried out by others in the company, and to contribute to our own quality management system and processes
- attend and contribute to regular team meetings, including weekly short on-line meetings, and in-person team meetings
