Responsibility

  • develop relationships with clients, attending client meetings alongside the Financial Planners
  • undertake technical research and financial analysis to support the Financial Planners/Advisers in identifying suitable solutions for the client
  • analyse portfolios, benchmarking, rebalancing and ongoing portfolio maintenance
  • work with the administrative support team to ensure recommendations are implemented and the highest level of client service is delivered
  • adhere to quality standards and deliver the highest level of client experience
  • prepare for client review meetings and work to understand the client’s financial situation, using cash flow modelling to prepare and write financial plans and post-meeting reports
  • follow compliance processes to manage risk whilst ensuring excellent outcomes for clients
  • process improvements – review, enhance and streamline operational paraplanning processes, systems and procedures to enhance operational efficiency

Requirements

  • in depth experience of the financial planning process and an understanding of the associated compliance and risk requirements
  • driven and goal focused with the ability to complete tasks under pressure on time and right first time
  • great attention to detail and not afraid to suggest alternatives to enhance process efficiency
  • graduate level or equivalent with strong numeracy and literacy skills
  • dipPFS or equivalent and desire to progress to Chartered status and or specialise
  • paraplanner: 3 years
