Requirements
- proficiency in Payroll software
- strong understanding of payroll tax laws and employment regulations
- excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- ability to manage multiple client payrolls simultaneously
- knowledge of accounting principles and payroll best practices
- education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Candidate holding professional qualifications like ACCA, ACA will be preferred
- experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll management or a related role, with at least 1 years in a supervisory capacity. Experience working in an accounting firm is highly preferred
Responsibility
- payroll Processing: Manage the accurate and timely processing of payroll for multiple clients, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
- record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of payroll transactions, adjustments, and other payroll-related documentation in accordance with legal and client requirements
- reporting: Generate and distribute payroll reports and payslips for clients, providing insights into labor costs, deductions, and other relevant financial metrics
- compliance Management: Ensure all payroll-related activities comply with applicable UK laws and regulations
- tax Compliance: Ensure payroll taxes are calculated and remitted on time, including PAYE, NI contributions and ensure compliance with all relevant tax filings
