Requirements
proficiency in Payroll software
strong understanding of payroll tax laws and employment regulations
excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
strong communication skills, both written and verbal
ability to manage multiple client payrolls simultaneously
knowledge of accounting principles and payroll best practices
education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Candidate holding professional qualifications like ACCA, ACA will be preferred
experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in payroll management or a related role, with at least 1 years in a supervisory capacity. Experience working in an accounting firm is highly preferred
Responsibility
payroll Processing: Manage the accurate and timely processing of payroll for multiple clients, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal requirements
record Keeping: Maintain detailed records of payroll transactions, adjustments, and other payroll-related documentation in accordance with legal and client requirements
reporting: Generate and distribute payroll reports and payslips for clients, providing insights into labor costs, deductions, and other relevant financial metrics
compliance Management: Ensure all payroll-related activities comply with applicable UK laws and regulations
tax Compliance: Ensure payroll taxes are calculated and remitted on time, including PAYE, NI contributions and ensure compliance with all relevant tax filings
