ecologist
Requirements
- educated to degree or in an ecology related subject
- qualifying membership of CIEEM or equivalent
- CSCS card
- full UK driving licence and use of own vehicle
- knowledge and experience of the ecology sector with approximately 1 years experience
- understanding of ecological legalisation for development
- good understanding of British Wildlife Legislation and survey best practice
- having the ability to organise, manage and prioritise workload to meet tight deadlines
Responsibility
- provide support to the wider ecology team
- assisting with fieldwork and a variety ecological surveys
- assisting with mitigation surveys
- compiling, analysing and interpreting survey data
- producing and contributing to technical reports
- assisting with any other ad hoc duties as provided by the ecology team
- access to our Occupational Health Platform and EAP for wellbeing support
- mainly based in the South-West region
