ECHELON COMMAND INFORMATION CENTRE is looking for employees for positions:

security officer

  • security officer

Responsibility

  • to conduct proactive patrols on site
  • to maintain a security presence at assigned locations
  • to respond to security related incidents including fire and intruder alarm activations
  • completion of relevant documents to maintain accurate records of activities, incidents, and observations
  • act as a visible deterrent to prevent unauthorized access or activities; and report such activity to appropriate persons
  • to comply with the health and safety policies
  • liaise with the control room operator
  • to provide a timely response when attending sites for call outs

Requirements

  • must hold the relevant SIA License
  • must be able to communicate clearly, both verbally and in writing
  • strong observational skills
  • must hold First Aid qualification
