Responsibility
- perform detailed and accurate 2D and 3D take-offs using systems such as Bluebeam and costX
- review architectural plans, specifications, and other project documents to prepare comprehensive cost estimates
- collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for accurate estimates
- analyse and quantify materials, labour, and equipment required for each project
- prepare and present detailed cost breakdowns, proposals, and bid packages
- track and update cost data to ensure accuracy and reflect any changes during the estimation process
- conduct thorough reviews of project requirements to identify potential cost-saving opportunities

Education
- bachelor's
Requirements
- proven experience as a Construction Estimator, including proficiency in 2D and 3D take-offs
- strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and processes
- proficiency in using estimation software, such as Bluebeam, and other industry-standard tools
- excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a keen eye for detail
- ability to interpret and analyze architectural and engineering drawings and specifications
- strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects simultaneously
- effective communication and negotiation skills to work collaboratively with internal teams and external stakeholders
- familiarity with local building codes, regulations, and industry best practices
