Responsibility

  • it is a busy role that requires a person who is efficient and organised and has proven experience working in accounts
  • the Financial Accountant is responsible for ensuring that all financial transactions are appropriately and accurately recorded in the Group’s accounting system as well as a range of external and internal reporting requirements
  • produce customer invoices
  • supporting the Finance Director in liaising with auditors
  • daily bank reconciliations
  • supporting the Finance Director in preparation of quarterly management accounts

Requirements

  • experience in bookkeeping or accounting role
  • experience using accounting software, ideally Pegasus Opera
  • ability to work independently without regular supervision
  • strong analytical skills
  • attention to detail
  • ability to work to deadlines and prioritise
  • financial accounting: 2 years
  • part qualified is desirable
