Responsibility
- serving our customers out in the yard, providing a good knowledge of the best products for their projects
- maintain cleanliness and organisation of the yard area
- assist in loading and unloading goods inwards vehicles and our own vehicles
- drive our range of vehicles for deliveries as required
- perform routine inspections of yard equipment and report any issues
- ensure compliance with safety regulations while operating machinery
- collaborate with team members to optimise yard operations
- assist in stock management and stock rotation as necessary
Requirements
- previous experience as a Yard Worker or in a similar role is preferred
- valid class 2 driver's licence; experience in commercial driving is an advantage
- familiarity with vehicles and delivery processes is desirable
- strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
- fork Lift and plant licences would be advantageous
- driving: 1 year
