Hard working group but corners cut to get the job finished as quickly as possible.Senior planner left the job 4 hours before completion because he had to attend a funeral but promised to return in the afternoon to do a final inspection and ensure that the job was completed to his own high standards. Unfortunately he never returned. Had he done so he would have seen an ugly joint scross the width of the driveway caused by a gap in a second delivery of tarmac. I made the schoolboy error of paying him in full before the job was 100% complete
