Responsibility
- construct and assemble mechanical equipment using components bought in and made in-house
- carry out maintenance activities on mechanical equipment both in the Workshop and on customer sites
- work in a safe manner following Company and customer health, safety and quality procedures
- reporting to: Foreman Fitter/Workshop Manager
Requirements
- time-served apprenticeship or equivalent experience
- ability to work in a small, cross-functional team in a fast-paced environment
- takes pride in their work and adopts a positive attitude to work
- excellent communication skills and time management skills
- willingness to learn
- competent in bench fitting techniques
- competent in the use of hand tools e.g. impact wrenches and grinders
- ability to interpret engineering drawings
