Responsibility
- the role is based in the studio's workshops and consists of making and assembling artworks, following CAD drawings and designs
- ● Building/assembling products to the required specification and standards
- ● Inspect and test components and finished Artworks
- the team regularly undertake painting and finishing assignments for artworks
- ● Use power tools and machines safely and precisely
- ● Monitor and refresh stock levels cooperativity
- A willingness to assist the team in installing and transporting artworks is essential, as is a readiness to travel
- ● Movingand lifting artwork and materials under supervision
Requirements
- ● Practical with some experience of fabrication, making or prototyping
- ● Detail oriented and solution focused
- ● Clean and able to maintain a safe working environment
- ● Actively engaged in learning opportunities to build skills and take on progressive responsibilities within the workshop
- ● Ateamplayer who thrives on learning from and assisting other members of the team
- ● Familiar and comfortable with workplace manual handling and workshop operations
