Responsibility
- compile accurate BMS points lists based on plant information and contract issue specification and drawings
- undertake Wiring diagrams reflecting Points list and Description of operation
- A Building Management System design engineer is responsible for creating the MCC Wiring diagrams and Plant replicated graphics including Building operation, Energy dashboards and automated reporting
- create project specific BMS graphics using proprietary software
- test the software and control strategies to ensure they work as intended
- work closely with engineers from different disciplines, such as mechanical, electrical, and HVAC engineers to understand the requirements of the project to integrate them effectively into the BMS
- after the system is operational, you will be involved in updates, enhancements, and maintenance of the BMS to accommodate changes in building requirements or to improve system performance
