Requirements
- the ability to set-up, programme and operate CNC Lathe/Mill
- no formal qualification required – recognition of previous experience and on-the-job assessment
- the ability to work in both Metric & Imperial units
- an understanding of drawings / technical data
Responsibility
- conduct pre-use visual checks on machines prior to commencing work
- check condition of cables of equipment prior to commencing work activities
- maintain a clean and tidy work area before, during and after completing work
- examine own work, checking for defects to ensure conformance with drawings and specifications
- record work activity on Job Cards &, Production Reports
- production/manufacturing operations
- comply with all the organisations HSEQ policy and procedure requirements – including Risk Assessments, PPE Instructions and other Safe Working Instructions
- perform tasks as directed and in accordance with Job Initiation Pack and approved drawings ensuring assigned work is clearly understood before commencing
