machine operator
Responsibility
- receiving and using information needed to fulfil production
- setting up of machines
- the role will be 5 days per week Monday - Thursday 8.00am-5.00pm and Friday 8.00am-3.45pm
- starting machinery and observing operations to detect defects or breakdowns
- the role is a permanent position
- overtime may be available, paid at time and a third
- perform simple quality control activities to ensure quality is of company standards. Report any issues to management
- flexibility would be considered an advantage
Requirements
- ability to work well as part of a team
- ability to receive and understand instruction
- ability to communicate well with others
- good observation skills
- excellent hand and eye coordination
- ability to work whilst standing for long periods of time as well as lift and move materials
- ability and willingness to work in a factory environment in which the use of hearing protection is mandatory
- working in a safe manner at all times
