Responsibility
- operate filling machinery within the dairy including glass, plastic and bulk containers
- understand and undertake daily cleaning/hygiene duties
- maintain and upkeep systems & procedures for product safety, quality control and Health & Safety
- ensure that processing plant and equipment is in safe working condition and to report any defects immediately
- ensure that the wastage is kept to a minimum
- maintain and upkeep systems & procedures to ensure a safe, clean and tidy working environment; adhering to hygiene standards, procedures and “clean as you go” policy
Requirements
- hard-working and organised
- an effective team member
- previous experience in a food processing environment
- able to use initiative and muck-in when required
- competency in operating dairy filling equipment
- willing to help our dynamic team to build and expand
- competency and understanding of food hygiene and cleaning
- have own transport to get to work
