Responsibility
- troubleshoot and repair electronic devices and equipment, within the broadcast and cinematography industry
- perform component-level repairs and modifications on circuit boards and other electronic components
- collaborate with other members of the team to identify solutions to complex technical problems
- test and calibrate equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability
- maintain accurate and up-to-date repair logs and other documentation
- keep abreast of the latest technological developments and industry trends to continuously improve knowledge and skills
Requirements
- HND or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or a related field
- expert soldering skills
- in-depth knowledge of electronic principles, circuitry, and devices
- ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and technical manuals
- familiarity with common repair tools and equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, soldering equipment, and diagnostic software
- strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- at least 3-5 years of experience in electronic repair, with a proven track record of diagnosing and repairing a wide range of devices and equipment
