- we have openings for a Seasonal Animal Keepers here at Safari Zoo, responsible for the care of the furry residents, the cleaning and maintenance of their enclosures and habitats
- the role extends to include maintenance and display of the grounds, facilities, animal diet preparation, supporting public feeding sessions, manning public areas and cleanliness of non-public areas
- communicate questions or concerns regarding medical/health issues of specimens in the collection to the Animal Manager, assisting with treatment as directed
- communicates with appropriate staff about food inventory to ensure stock is adequately maintained
- provides behavioral and psychological enrichment for animals in conjunction with the enrichment co-ordinator
