- collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate reporting of financial data and compliance with internal controls
- stay updated on changes in financial regulations and best practices within the financial services industry
Requirements
- A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred
- proven experience in financial accounting roles with a strong understanding of accounting principles
- proficiency in accounting software such as Clearbook, Sage, PeopleSoft, Xero, or QuickBooks is essential
- strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- strong communication skills for collaboration with team members and stakeholders
- previous experience in mentoring or training junior staff is advantageous but not mandatory
