healthcare assistant
Responsibility
- taking in and handing out prescriptions
- ordering items and unloading deliveries
- selling over the counter medicines
- responding to queries and referring to the pharmacist when needed
- providing health advice and sign posting to our customers
- working alongside our knowledgeable Pharmacist and the team, you will be instrumental in the efficient delivery of pharmacy processes to ensure our customers are really taken care of
- this role maintains a high level of competence to ensure the safe dispensing of medication to customers as well as being the experts that our customers can rely on
- complying with legal and professional requirements and accepted guidance on professional practice within the company

- pharmacy Counter Training preferred but not essential if you have previous retail counter experience
- you would need to have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team
- you would need to have a genuine concern for patients and be able to provide outstanding care for our customers
- you must be able to work under pressure and to work within deadlines
- you need to be able work accurately and methodically and pay attention to detail
- you must have excellent customer service skills and it skills
