bar manager
Responsibility
- oversee the daily operations of the bar, ensuring smooth and efficient service
- manage and train bar staff, including bartenders and baristas
- develop and maintain a high standard of customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction
- create and update drink menus, taking into consideration current trends and customer preferences
- monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- handle customer complaints or issues in a professional and timely manner
- collaborate with other departments, such as food production and catering, to ensure seamless service for events and banquets
Requirements
- previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
- strong knowledge of bar operations, including bartending techniques and mixology
- excellent leadership and communication skills
- ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
- knowledge of coffee preparation methods is a plus
- assistant manager experience is preferred
- supervising experience: 2 years
- restaurant management: 1 year
