Requirements
studying for an Economics/Business Development/Marketing/Finance/Business Studies degree or has just acquired one of the above
self- motivated with strong work ethic whilst working to tight deadlines
strong interpersonal and communication skills with a solutions orientated approach
Responsibility
to provide economic data and forecasts in the identified sectors highlighting the key players in each sector in conjunction with the Group BD Director
to research individual identified target organisations providing details of main areas of activity and interest to Corstorphine & Wright and identifying the relevant individuals in those organisations
ensure the CRM system matches your analysis of key organisations and individuals by keeping key data accurate across our internal systems
analyse current and future trends in each individual sector and provide a synopsis of thoughts and ideas that support the Group’s strategy and any modifications needed in the short to medium term business cycle
support the search for new business partners in the identified sectors to enable Corstorphine & Wright to have greater success in routes to market
perform and present competitor analysis with help and assistance of the Group BD Director, and identify areas where Corstorphine & Wright can surpass them to increase our market share in those identified sectors
develop and produce standard formats for the data/ reports in cooperation with our Group BD Director to ensure that those can be regularly updated at ease and to achieve commercial output within Corstorphine & Wright
produce a manual on best practice to source data and the use of the filing & CRM systems to reflect on your internship and get constructive feedback from our Group BD Director
