Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- working within a cross functional team of developers, testers, and product managers along with core business operations and client services teams
- involved in testing all products throughout the development process
- responsible for high quality testing and working to identity process improvements to ensure robust standards in place
- be a technical QA leader within the team
- mentor and support other members of the team
- work across teams to develop and improve QA processes, best practice and technologies
- our client, a technology provider, is looking for an experienced permanent QA automation engineer to join their team in Edinburgh, Bath or London
- write automated tests, debug, deploy and support
Requirements
- experience developing and implementing a QA strategy with support from colleagues
- excellent knowledge of test automation frameworks for both front-end and back-end testing
- experienced in API test automation
- strong skills in Javascript or Typescript
- can work autonomously, taking ownership for personal and team delivery and outcomes
- experience of moving from simple user stories to TDD/BDD stories that use Gherkin
- ISTQB qualified, or similar qualification
