Due to a sudden family bereavement i had to travel at short notice to England and was unable to take my dog. Coops Canines was recommended by a mutual friend so i thought it would be fine. My dog stayed with them for a week and when he came home he seemed ok at first but i noticed over the next few hours he was clawing and scratching at himself. Long story short even though he is regularly treated with Frontline i removed over 80 fleas from him less than 6 hours after getting him home! It wasnt until after all this i found out they regularly take on multiple dogs at a time on top of thier own dogs in a small house all together! Its a recipe for disaster! I feel so guilty i put my boy through this and in future even in an emergency rush situation i shall be doing my research much more carefully. I recommend using a reputable boarding service as i have found out through research now that anyone can do a 1 day online course and call themselves a boarding service! Disgusting!
I'm sorry to hear about what happened to your dog. Did Coops Canines offer any explanation or compensation for the situation? It's essential to prioritize your pet's safety and well-being.
So sorry to hear about your poor dog but from the things i have heard i am not surprised at all.
