warehouse supervisor
Responsibility
- to maintain full responsibility for the warehouse, following procedures and keeping it organised, clean and tidy
- order processing, picking, packing labelling goods for dispatch
- using a PC to process orders and e-mail
- replenishing stock and stock control including stock counting
- physical, manual work including lifting and climbing ladders
- organising staff for and helping with the offloading of containers
- receiving returned goods, checking and putting these back to stock
- putting together and building any returned goods that may be faulty
Requirements
- enjoys working independently, using own initiative, not needing to be micro-managed
- trustworthy and conscientious
- warehouse experience, especially e-commerce would be an advantage
- good IT skills
- good number skills
- good organisation skills
- hard working with a good work ethic
- the nature of this role requires someone who is physically fit as some heavy lifting will be required
