- maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using Xero accounting software
- process accounts payable and ensure timely payment of invoices
- reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions
- prepare financial reports and statements for management review
- finalise transactions for VAT returns and year end accounts
- assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
- monitor cash flow
- assist with year-end audits and tax preparation
Requirements
- must have experience of working in a financial capacity
- proficiency in accounting software, ideally Xero
- strong knowledge of of accounts payable processes and procedures
- attention to detail and accuracy in financial record keeping
- excellent organisational and time management skills
- ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- be able to work as part of a team
- confident in speaking over the telephone
