Responsibility

  • code 9 Security is recruiting for an SIA licensed to join our Event Security Management team in Winchester and the immediately surrounding areas
  • the role will require regular weekend evening working, supporting prestigious private event venues with a Duty Security Management function. Pay rates will vary depending on the venue, between £14.50 and £16.00 per hour
  • the main requirement for the role is to provide a warm, friendly and hospitable welcome to guests, including VIPs and PEPs, while being steadfast in the application of venue rules, policies, licensing laws, health and safety
  • you will be expected to form part of the venue management team, deputising for the venue management from time to time and advising and acting on matters pertaining to security and risk

Requirements

  • have a valid SIA Door Supervisors licence
  • have a full UK Driving Licence due to the location of the venues
  • declare any criminal convictions, cautions or reprimands and complete a DBS Disclosure
  • be able to remain calm under pressure and have a good working knowledge of conflict management
  • declare any adverse credit history, including CCJs, IVAs and bankruptcies
  • pass and complete the necessary training requirements
  • be smart in your appearance
