Requirements

  • care: 1 year
  • working between the hours of 6am – 2:30pm or 3.30pm - 11pm

Responsibility

  • community Care Workers are required to undertake various tasks for clients such as washing, dressing, preparing meals, administering medication, companionship, and general assistance with everyday living for those who are unable to physically manage these themselves
  • please note staff that do not drive and do not opt to cycle will be subject to a reduced rate of pay, please contact our Recruitment Team for further details

support worker

Responsibility

  • to undertake support tasks as outlined in the Service User’s care/support plan
  • to maintain good communication and develop effective working relationships with Service Users
  • liaise with other support staff and/or other professionals as necessary or as directed
  • to adhere to all of the CM Care policies and procedures
  • to alert Supervisors/Managers of any changes in the Service User’s condition or circumstances
  • to develop good communication links with any support workers or family member in the Service User’s home
  • to prepare and cook meals as outlined in the care/support plan
  • complete daily logs in accordance to CM Care policy and procedures

Requirements

  • willing to work towards Common Induction Standards
  • willing to work towards NVQ2
  • within 12 months employment Achieved NVQ2
  • this post is subject to an Enhanced CRB
  • specialist care/support training
  • where using own car for working purposes, to provide copy of full driving licence and Class 1 car insurance
  • ability to maintain confidentiality
  • ability to display empathy and warmth to all
