Responsibility
- maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks
- posting purchase ledger invoices, expenses, credit cards, and other payments to the appropriate accounts and cost centres
- processing weekly supplier payment runs and resolving any queries
- reconcile bank statements, supplier statements and credit card transactions
- assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures, such as accruals, prepayments, and journals
- supporting the preparation of management accounts and financial reports
- assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions
Requirements
- proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or similar platforms
- strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and procedures
- attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and financial record keeping
- excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- analytical mindset to interpret financial data and identify trends or discrepancies
- strong communication skills to collaborate with team members and other departments
- able to work independently and as part of a team
