Responsibility
- food To Go / Kitchen Manager - OTE £30,000 per year with bonuses
- at Claydons we have been proudly serving the people of Colchester for over 60 years
- we are excited to announce we are extending, renovating and fully refurbishing the shop to a very high standard
- as such, the Food To Go / Kitchen Manager will play an integral part in the success of the business
- you will run the day-to-day operations of the kitchen and service areas
- being ideally situated on the High Street and next to the Castle, we will be offering ultra-convenient Grab & Go fresh food and drinks
- duties include managing the staff and operations, providing excellent customer service, ensuring staff are safe and that all food safety, labelling and allergen procedures are followed according to regulations
- having a keen attention to detail, hygiene and cleanliness, and being able to prioritise tasks are some of the key qualities required
Requirements
- previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or catering environment
- strong knowledge of food production processes and techniques
- excellent leadership and communication skills
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- knowledge of coffee preparation is a plus
- understanding of health and safety regulations related to food handling and storage
