Requirements
- experience of CAD design using Solidworks
- design for hazardous environments
- schematic capture and PCB design using OrCAD/Allegro
- acoustic knowledge
- A degree in Engineering, with a focus on Electronics
- at least two years of relevant electronic design experience, including embedded processors
- experience of Printed Circuit Board design
- experience of designing enclosures and mechanical design using CAD
Responsibility
- analogue design of audio circuits
- design for EMC and CE compliance
- collaborate with embedded software engineers to create a working product
- printed Circuit Design using OrCAD/Allegro
- mechanical design using Solidworks and Draftsight
- generate product drawings, schematics, BOM’s, assembly drawings
- electronic hardware design of embedded microcontroller circuits with typical peripherals including USB, IRDA, RAM, FLASH, ADC’s, I/O, SERIAL, COMPACT FLASH, BLUETOOTH, NFC, OLED, TFT DISPLAY’s, RTOS, Ethernet etc
- maintain drawings
