management accountant

Responsibility
- we are recruiting for a Management Accountant who is enthusiastic, positive and self-motivated
- cashbook reconciliations and cash transaction postings
- maintaining the fixed asset register
- preparation of other balance sheet control account reconciliations
- supporting the preparation of monthly management accounts and month-end close process
- the successful candidate will assist the wider finance function with the preparation of monthly management accounts, bookkeeping, forecasting and reconciliation tasks to ensure the ledgers are up-to-date and accurate
- supporting the year-end statutory audit and accounts process
- we are looking for someone who is keen to get an in-depth understanding of current processes and that is eager to develop and improve procedures and find efficiencies
Education
- A-Level or equivalent
Requirements
- at least two years experience in a finance role
- A relevant accounting qualification
- strong numeracy and organisational skills
- excellent attention to detail
- clear written and verbal communication
- experience of Sage 200 accounting software would be an advantage
- accounting: 2 years
